| MoonbeamsA delicate moonbeam, dancing
| |
| | My father's the one i so dearly miss,
|
| high, atop the star filled sky,
| |
| | An ache in my heart, at no parting kiss.
|
| filters down to crimson brook, where
| |
| | No special words i so wanted to say,
|
| once we use to fly.
| |
| | Just a numbing ache that wont go away.
|
| Where night flight dancing filled the
| |
| | My mind now roams, on sweet times gone
|
| air, a bustling brook of fun,
| |
| | by,
|
| where hearty revelry and feasting time,
| |
| | Long forgotten memories,a tear now in my
|
| was had by everyone. We would dance the
| |
| | eye.
|
| night, upon the flopper trees, majestic
| |
| | My friends all huddled round you,
|
| looking frame,
| |
| | stories being told,
|
| fly the night airs bristling winds, hard
| |
| | You defeating the daleks, or finding the
|
| task to conquer and tame.
| |
| | long lost gold.
|
| Spiral into the silent brook, to ride on
| |
| | The wink you use to give me, as i sat
|
| the mermaids backs,
| |
| | there by your side,
|
| to swim through reed and lilac, and
| |
| | I,in awe of my father, heart so full of
|
| chase through rocky cracks. We would race
| |
| | pride.
|
| the lively glow-worm, like the jockeys of
| |
| | Now you roam the heavens, free of
|
| long ago,
| |
| | earthly pain,
|
| picnic among the josiper plants, swaying
| |
| | Wings aspread, you're flying now in the
|
| to and fro.
| |
| | lords domain.
|
| Till morning dewdrops, filled the air,
| |
| | A kiss i send now, up to the sky so
|
| glistening in the light,
| |
| | blue,
|
| for now was the time of the giants, dare
| |
| | Catch it dad, tis a kiss with wings for
|
| not venture into their sight. But alas
| |
| | you.Scotlandoch, tae walk again, through
|
| those times have gone now, no more can we
| |
| | the winding hills;
|
| be seen,
| |
| | wae the heather at ma feet.
|
| for prying eyes, and modern times, have
| |
| | jus tae wander roond the glens n lochs,
|
| marred the forest sheen.
| |
| | or tae climb auld arthurs seat.
|
| Strange creatures rumble, ripping roots,
| |
| | tae lose maself in the heady scent,
|
| trees tumble in their wake,
| |
| | o the heather swaying bright.
|
| upon them ride the human folk, their
| |
| | tae climb the wondrous mountains high,
|
| homes they want to make.So now we live
| |
| | n gaze doon at that awesome sight.
|
| below now, a dark and sombre land,
| |
| | of ma home toons lights a twinkling,
|
| lost our wings, a flightless life, dark
| |
| | like stars in a sea o brine.
|
| future is at hand.
| |
| | am hame now wat a feeling, godbless this
